The two star hotels come with some added comfort, the beds are usually better quality, you can sometimes get a room with an attached bathroom and some basic things like towels and linen are provided by the hotel administration.

Now the three star Altea Hotels deserve a paragraph of their own, and they’ve got one. This is so because they usually come with many added facilities, some come with free Wi-Fi access while others come with a pool and special family services, sometimes a phone is also provided from which calls can be made via the reception desk. These hotels almost always come with an attach bath, linen, towels et cetera and making a reservation in one of these is always a safe bet to make for you, provided you have the money!
