Is It Safe To Play The UK Lottery Online?

February 11th, 2010 No comments

The UK Lottery is the United Kingdom?s main lottery game, which means you can find national lottery retailers all over the country. However, despite the availability of retailers, it may not always be convenient for you to run out and buy lottery tickets. But don?t despair. There is another option for purchasing lottery tickets, and you don?t even have to leave the house.

The UK Lottery allows you to buy tickets on the Internet. Just go online, enter your lucky numbers (or select the Lucky Dip option to let the computer select your numbers for you), and you are then emailed a virtual ticket. Print the ticket, or just save the email with the link to your lottery numbers. The system allows you to choose which nights you want to play (Wednesday, Saturday, or both), and how many weeks you want to play the same numbers?up to eight weeks in a row. You can do all of this from your own computer in the privacy of your home.

However, with all online purchases, the question of safety is raised. But luckily, it is safe to purchase lottery tickets online. Approved lottery ticket sites take precautions in order to keep all purchasing information safe and secure and away from computer hackers and criminals. Approved lottery ticket sites work hard at making sure you can buy your tickets online with the utmost confidence. But there are some precautions you should take just in case:

Be sure you only purchase lottery tickets from official, approved websites. An approved website will have the official UK Lottery logo on its page. Do not buy tickets from this site if you do not see the official logo.

Never give your lottery user name and password to anyone else. Keep all user names and passwords in a safe, protected place. Always log off the computer after purchasing lottery tickets.

Secondly, never, ever give your user name or password to anyone else. If you can’t remember your user names and passwords, write them down, but be sure to keep them in a safe place. Also, be careful to log off your computer after you purchase your tickets, so hackers cannot locate your payment information in your web browser.

If you follow these basic precautions, it is completely safe to purchase UK Lottery tickets over the World Wide Web. Buying UK Lottery tickets online is convenient, secure, and legal. Buy your plays from the peace and quiet of your own home, taking your time to select exactly the numbers you want, or allowing the computer to randomly select your numbers with a Lucky Dip. Then relax and wait to see if you are the jackpot winner.

Thailand’s largest island, Phuket (roughly pronounced poo-get) is a popular holiday travel destination with beaches, night life and a rich melting pot of culture and religions. Most flights into Phuket originate from Bangkok via several airlines: Thai Airways (also offering flights from the UK to Bangkok), Bangkok Airways, Nok Air, Firefly and Air Asia.

Once you arrive at Phuket’s International Airport you will find that the shuttle bus will be the easiest and cost effective way to get where you would like to go. Local buses also run to all major beaches. Other traveling options include taking advantage of the minibus service or taxi.

Phuket high season is from November through May, but the island is generally hot and humid all year long. The summer monsoon season consists mornings and afternoons that are sunny and clear while the evenings are mostly rainy. Residents consider May to October the “cool season.”

Phuket’s 12 white beaches and clear water will offer something for everyone. Whether you are a beach bum or have a family Phuket is the place to be. The windy coastal roads have scenic views and access all of these great beaches.

You will find a beach that will suit you and what you are looking for in a vacation spot. There are beaches that are for the partying type, the athletic type, and there is a beach that offers the peace and quiet some look for in a vacation and at a beach.

Kata Beach, just a few miles south of Karon Beach is popular with families thanks to its spectacular beach, restaurants and lively, but not wild, night life. Phuket’s other beaches are Mai Khao, Bang Tao, Surin Beach, Laem Singh Beach, Kamala Beach, Kata Nio Beach, Ao Chalong, Rawai Beach and Nai Ham.

Snorkeling, and diving sites are available as are small quiet beaches and accommodations ranging from the rustic to the exclusive. There are numerous attractions to take in when you visit Phuket. The thing about these cabaret type shows is that they blend tradition with humor and fantasy. You will find that they keep humor in their shows. You will not be disappointed if you are able to catch the group know as ‘ladyboys’ of Simon Cabaret. The show will rival any you see in Las Vegas, and many include pyrotechnics.

Enjoy sunrise and sunset views from many of the viewpoints east and west of Phuket. Promthep is a popular but spectacular example offering fabulous views over the ocean all the way to the island of Phi Phi on a clear day. Phuket town, the sleepy and provincial capital, offers funky shops to surprise and delight you. The blend of colonial and Chinese architecture highlight the Old Town’s quantness.

If you decide to visit Patong’s Bangla Road during the evening, bring an open mind, because you’ll see nightlife that looks like nothing you’d see at home. The Wat Chalong temple is very important to Phuket, and thousands of visitors see it each year. Wat Chalong has a long, fascinating history as the spiritual center of Phuket.
