Don’t Forget To Use Opt In Emails For Your Online Business Future

November 27th, 2009 No comments

So you have a new website up and running online but your not getting any traffic, which means your not making any sales. Or maybe you just not getting enough traffic. There are two things you need to concentrate on to boost your website traffic. You need to get visitors from the search engines, and you need a good email marketing plan.

Now, we are going to discuss your email marketing strategies and help get your opt in list building up and running. First you need to come up with a battle plan on the best way to build your list. Using safelists can get you a little traffic but they will not help you succeed in the long run.

There are two ways to start building your opt in list. First you can use an online service that helps you build your list, or you can do it the old fashioned way and start building your list by yourself.

If you decide to use an online list building service, here are a few to stay away from. First stay away from ListDotCom. This is a program that claims to help you build your list, which it is set up to do, but they sell memberships for $197 to let everyone email 5000 people in there list every 2 days. This is great for the owner of the program, but it sucks for you. Anyone you refer into this service will be receiving emails from all the upgraded members, and there are loads of them. The people you refer could end up receiving hundreds of emails every day, which means your emails will get lost in the clutter.

Another program to steer clear of is List Joe. They say that they will help you build your list, but everyone you refer, receives emails from all the other members. This program is nothing but a credit based safelist. You earn credits for reading other peoples emails and clicking on the links, then you trade these credits in to email other members of the program. Of course they also have a upgraded membership status that they sell for $197. Makes you wonder, who would pay $200 to join a safelist?

Now for building your list using an online service I would strongly recommend MyHugeList. This program actually helps you. First off, this is a viral email list building program. Everyone you refer gets put in your list, and then they help you build your list, everyone they refer gets put in your list and so on, down to 10 levels. Every person in the program only receive emails from there upline and nobody’s lupine can ever be more than 10 people, so you will only receive 2 to 3 emails a day. And because you only receive 2 to 3 emails a day people actually notice them and read them. They also offer free software to everyone, this is a nice bribe to get people to join your list. This is a free program, they do have a option to upgrade to PRO membership for $6 a month. Thats a lot different than $197.

If you want to start sending your emails to people today. You should use MoneyListPro. They have memberships that allow you to send emails and put your text ads or banners on there high traffic website. Memberships start at $3 and go to $12 and you can email up to 5,000 people every 2 days. Like the program above, but you don’t have to pay $197 to join.

All the above programs can be found in your favorite search engine.

Now if you want to build your own list, this is what you are going to need in order to start building your list. You will need your own web hosting service and domain name, you will need an auto responder service, and you will need a product to give away in order to get people to sign up for your list.

Don’t forget email marketing is one of the most important factors to consider when building your online business. With out an opt in email list, you probably wont succeed online.

I created MyHugeList email marketing program to help anyone build there own list for free. It is the best email marketing service for building your own opt in email list.

Best Linkbaiting Techniques

November 27th, 2009 No comments

Linkbaiting is something most, if not all, webmasters do-whether they realize it or not! Who doesn’t want their content linked to? Backlinks are a good thing, and getting them without any extra effort on your part should always brings a smile to your fac

Producing content that prompts other webmasters to want to tell the world they need to visit your site, is the very best form of flattery to my way of thinking!

Linkbaiting has gotten a bad rap of late (because of a few that will stop at nothing to try to gain back links to their site.) Just stay out of the grey areas when linkbaiting, and get your back links for all the right reasons.

I’m not writing this article to argue the ethics of linkbaiting, but to give what I feel are the five best techniques you can use for getting some of those links.

So without further adu, here are my five favorite linkbaiting techniques:

Write content that is the best “out there” on your chosen topic. Make your content compelling, unique, attention grabbing, provocative, and make sure it provides real, useful, value for your visitors.

Be the first to break a story in your niche-Difficult to do, but very effective in getting incoming links! Stay up-to-date on what’s going on in your niche, stay on the cutting edge! Give your readers the scoop!

Provide a useful tool or software-By doing this you will get backlinks, there is little doubt about it! Even if you can’t produce the tool or software yourself you can buy it or pay someone to produce it for you. The more needed and useful the tool or software the more links it will generate for your site.

Give a list of needed links-Tell your visitors where they can find more quality information on the subject of your post. Save them from having to Google it and search through the results. Make your list (the best it can be!)

Everyone likes free stuff-Give it away-and they will come. Not only that they will tell their friends about it!

Use these techniques, and use them consistently as you write your content, wether it’s blog posts, articles, website content, etc. and you will find your offerings linked to more and more often. And naturally occurring backlinks are the best kind!
