February 8th, 2010 No comments

You can have a lot on a trampoline. Wouldn’t it be great to get yourself one to put in your backyard? But do you know which trampoline to get?

There are a lot of trampolines that are being sold in the market today. And one of your choices is square trampolines.

Square trampolines are a type of recreational trampoline. The bed is made of waterproof canvas or a polypropylene material. The springs help in providing the elasticity of the bed. And a steel frame houses the bed.

Competitive trampolines are quite expensive. And if you want to get into the sport but want to be save money, don’t practice with square trampolines. They are not built to be as sturdy as competitive trampolines.

Square trampolines are quite the uncommon type of trampoline for recreation. Commonly, you’d see rectangular, circular or rectangular trampolines. However, square trampolines are said to be the best choice of trampoline for your home.

Rectangular trampolines have much elasticity that can give you good height after a jump. This can prove to be quite hazardous especially if you’re going to have kids playing on the trampoline. Square trampolines have some of the benefits of a circular trampoline and a rectangular trampoline combined.

Earlier, we said that rectangular trampolines and circular trampolines give enough rebound for height of a jump. Jumping on the center would give you the best height. However, square trampolines are not as elastic as conventional trampolines and do not give as much height. This can be a lot safer for your kids to play on, eliminating the risk of missing the mat after a good jump. The tautness of a mat on square trampolines also makes it easier to control the jump, reducing the possibility of jumping off the trampoline.

The springs on rectangular trampolines are crisscrossed. Square trampolines are also designed this way. This allows you to control your jump better. The shape also evens the bounce on the mat. So you don’t have to be at the center of the mat to get good height on a jump. These features make square trampolines ideal for trampoline basketball.

Most of the time, a home yard is square. The ideal trampolines for your yard are square trampolines. It is for the simple reason of its shape: square. And it is just like your yard. So it can fit anywhere in it.

Circular trampolines and square trampolines take up about the same amount of space. However, square trampolines give you more jumping area than circular trampolines. This can give you more fun in the same space.

A fun and healthy way to spend some quality time with your loved ones is playing on the trampoline. And having the right trampoline can ensure you more smiles and more laughter with your friends and family.
