Is Making Money Online Right For You?

January 25th, 2010 No comments

A question that we are all faced with before taking the leap forward and pursuing an online business is “Can I make money online?” If someone else poses that question to you, it is an impossible one to answer on their behalf. It is not a decision that you can make for them, and nobody would rightly put themselves in that position. It person seeking the answer must decide for themselves. When trying to make this potentially life-changing decision people try to weigh up the “For’s and Against’s” in taking that path. Either in their heads or by jotting it down on a piece of paper they list all the PROS and CONS, to help them make their decision.

For making money online, their list may look something like this:

For’s:

- Work from the comfort of my own home

- Huge unlimited income

- Own Boss

- Lots of time to spend with my family

- Work the hours I want, when I want

- All decisions are made by ME

- Work is varied and interesting

- Can be creative

CON’S

* Lack fixed “salary” compared to a job

* No guarantee of income

- Following the right “proven” system

- Moving with the ever changing marketplace and staying current

- Capital to set up initially

- Working for myself could be a higher risk than for someone else

At first glance, making a list like this may seem like a productive and reasonable thing to do when trying to make a decision. However, for those of you who have actually done this, you may have found this totally useless. It doesn’t help you make a decision at all. It just makes the decision even harder. What ends up happening is that anytime you focus on the benefits of making money online, you begin to attract ideas, circumstances, resources and people who seem to make it more obvious that this is the right path for you. For example, you may come to my site and sign up for the FREE Online Marketing Training Course that I am offering, and after watching the videos feel really inspired, and ready to start making money online.

However, what will very often happen is that you’ll start to think about potential risks or drawbacks of going down that path, and all of a sudden you start seeing all of those showing up in your life. Maybe the start announcing redundancies at your partners work, or you get a massive bill for something unexpected which eats into any saving you have put by for setting up your online business. Some circumstance, event or person inevitably gives you some kind of indication that perhaps making money online isn’t for you, or at least not at this point in time in your life.

You find yourself right back at the beginning, still without making a decision, and becoming more and more frustrated. So, why does this happen? The decision of whether or not to pursue an online business is made more difficult because we look at both sides of the coin. The process many go through examines both the Pro’s and the Con’s on the list making their decision far harder.

Just look at the benefits of starting your own business online. If you do, all you will “see” and attract are indicators of why you should make your move into the online world. Your limit on your credit card will become increased, your work place will start to lay off a few staff members and the security of your job will be under question, you will come across an online business opportunity that will feel right and fill you with excitement. The signs will be there and show you the right direction to take.
If you put any focus on the downside of the coin, what you will find is that you will be shown indicators why it is not the right time for you to move forward and set up an online business. So we end up going to and fro, getting lots of mixed signals from the world around us, making us more confused than ever on the decision to take, and more frustrated as time passes.

How do you make the right decision for you? The “secret” if you can even call it that, is to use your intuition and gut to make the decision. You need some head space – drive to a beauty spot, or the beach, or find a quiet place where you can be left alone without being disrupted. Turn off the outside world and just sit quietly for a while. Then, just ask yourself if you are now ready to pursue a new venture to do what it takes to learn how to make money online, be your own boss, be an entrepreneur, etc. Don’t try to be “reasonable”, just go with your gut. Trust your intuitive feelings. Does the possibility of making money online excite you? Is it something you’d love to learn how to do, despite any obstacles or challenges that may come up? Trust your gut. Trust your intuition. If it feels right, then just DECIDE right there and then that you’re going to do whatever it takes to learn how to make money online. You have to have a “Burning Desire” feeling towards it. It can’t be something half hearted that you’re going to “try out”. Decide to do it, or not, but don’t chop and change your mind.

Decide right there, if it feels right. Make the decision that you will do anything that it takes to learn how to make money online. Trust you gut and your intuition. ‘Burning Desire” is the essential ingredient in all of this; it must be so strong inside you that it will give you the strength and determination not to quit. A half-hearted attitude where you are going to “Give it a try” will definitely not carry you through to the success that you are after. This is it DECISION TIME, no more chopping and changing – Do it OR Don’t do it. If you decide that this is the right thing for you, you will quite amazingly see things line up in front of your very eyes that will be related to helping you make money online. You will be amazed at the resources, chance meeting and opportunities that will unfold right before you, all leading you to your goals. You need to stick with life-changing decision that you made, remembering that you are in it for the long term and will be outlasting all those who quit along the way.

My own decision has been totally life-changing in so many ways. Once I decided to start my own online business, the question I kept asking myself was different. Rather than “CAN I make money online?” It changed to “HOW do I make money online?” These two totally different questions, require totally different answers. You mustn’t underestimate the power of making a decision, it is miraculous how quickly things seem to turn up and present themselves into your life once you use you use your intuition in making a decision.

Niche Blueprint Review – Is Niche Blueprint A Scam?

January 24th, 2010 No comments

Is Niche Blueprint just another scam? I remember first starting out and looking for someone to show me the right method for making money online. However, it was very difficult to find a good mentor who could teach me the exact right steps to make money with Internet marketing.

The first version of Niche Blueprint was released in 2009 and today, a newer 2010 2nd version has been released with the latest methods. As compared to other guides that I have used before, I have found this one to be really useful, easy to follow and generates more income than other systems.

1. What Can You Expect to Learn From the Niche Blueprint?

This guide is all about teaching you how to build online E-Commerce stores to target profitable niche markets to sell to. The advantage of joining up as a member is that you can get a lot of useful tools and programs for automating most of the processes of Internet marketing. Firstly, this system teaches you the criteria to help you find profitable niches and the best suppliers and products for selling to that niche.

2. So How Do You Make Money After You Have Set Up The Niche Blueprint Websites?

After the sites are all set up, you will learn techniques for getting more visitors to come to them and make the most of this traffic to gain the most sales and profits. Traffic building is a continuous process that can be automated with the tools provided in the blueprint. All these steps can be repeated across multiple niches to create many more residual income streams.

3. Does The Niche Blueprint Really Work?

If you are new to making money online and niche marketing, you may find the concepts quite confusing at first and will take some time before you finally see the big picture. I am sure that this system will work for anyone who is motivated enough to implement the steps because the steps inside really do work, as I have discovered for myself.

Tips To Draw StumbleUpon Users Into Reading Your Post

January 24th, 2010 No comments

The potential for StumbleUpon cannot be underestimated, particularly for new bloggers. Unlike Digg or Del.icio.us, one or two votes from stumbles can easily invite hundreds of StumbleUpon visitors. Though with that said, StumbleUpon users are notoriously fickle.

The service describes itself as allowing you to ‘channel-surf the internet’ and I think it’s a very appropriate description. Users flick through websites like you might flick through channels, often making a decision on whether to stay or leave your site before it has even had time to finish loading. In this post, I want to suggest some quick tips you can use to draw StumbleUpon users into your site before they stumble away.

1. Get a catchphrase – A good blog design should always be able to communicate to its visitors what the site is all about. Therefore, it’s very important for a site to always have a catchphrase that can sum the mission of the blog in a few words. This is especially true if you want to attract StumbleUpon users to stay longer in your site.

2. Insert powerful visual cues – Having a logo is recommended if you want to get more chances for StumbleUpon users to stay longer at your site. As picture can paint a thousand words, it’s easy to send the message to your visitors on what your site is about within seconds. For example, if your site is about making money online, having a pile of cash as logo will instantly tell people that your site is about making money.

3. Place important information above the fold – It’s important to note that StumbleUpon users often judge a site by what is offered above the fold area. Meaning, the area in which the site appears on screen before any scrolling occurs.

In order to place your content in area visible to StumbleUpon User the moment they enter your site, you can make use of your blog’s sidebar (widget), header area and your navigation menu.

4. Be unique, be pretty – While it’s difficult to judge the quality of a blog’s content in just a few seconds, people are much more hasty with aesthetic judgments. Stumblers are more incline to stick around and read your content if your blog has awesome design.

Even though StumbleUpon users are notorious in channel surfing the net, if you make full use of these tips, it’s not hard to score some loyal readers while driving hundreds of stumblers to your site. Make sure to give it a try.
