Work From Home – Do What You Know Best

February 11th, 2010 No comments

Have you ever thought of being an expert? I do not mean going to graduate school, obtaining a Ph.D, and becoming an expert in molecular research. What I mean is becoming a work from home expert. Simply having the term “expert” withing three words of your name gives you credibility and authority in your field. Furthermore, it is not very difficult to obtain this moniker. The following will illustrate three steps which can quickly lead to you being established as an expert in your field.

1. Identify Your Niche

It is simply not enough to just simply “good” at several things. Rather, you have to be proficient at one or two things. I can best illustrate this with an example of a European friend of mine. This person trained himself to be regarded as the foremost expert in leadership training at water treatment facilities in his nation. The first time that he told me that he was taking this career path, I questioned whether or not this was something that he could do over the long haul. He did not seem the least bit concerned. Later on I found out why when he explained that every single developed city on earth has at least one water treatment facility. He further explained that in his country, he is the only expert in leadership training for water treatment facilities. This is his niche, and he owns it in his country. Even though my friend does not work from home, this example illustrates the principal behind becoming the expert in your niche, and what it will do for you. When you locate your niche and become the expert in that niche, you have assured yourself a majority stake in the market share.

2. Write About Your Area of Expertise

Once you identify your niche, it is time to let the world know that you are the resource on questions and issues regarding this field. Do so by writing articles related to your area of expertise. If you do so, the world will come to you. In fact, each and every day, tens of thousands of editors, webmasters, and newsletter publishers are searching feverishly for unique, educational articles. Once you write articles that teach readers about your industry, you will find numerous places that will quickly publish your article.

3. Speak, Speak, Speak

There will come a time that you are regarded as the expert in your particular niche. At this time, people will want to see you live. The fact is that people want to listen to and interact with experts in a live setting. Some of you might have a problem with this because of your fear of public speaking. However, you must not let this fear overtake your opportunities to become really well known in your field. Instead, face your fears head on by attending a public speaking class. Believe me, the more you speak publicly, the less nervous your will get. In fact, you will begin to look forward to doing so. When you look confident and comfortable speaking publicly, people view you as being more competent regarding your subject matter. After all, experts are supposed to be very competent.

If you follow the three aforementioned methods, you will be able to brand yourself as the expert in your work from home niche, and experience a high degree of success.

You Best Bet for 2010 Paid Survey Sites With High Paying Surveys

February 11th, 2010 No comments

I have searched everywhere for 2010 paid survey sites, but most of them didn’t have high paying surveys. I’ve only listed the ones that “do” have the best payments and allow you to earn a lot on a regular basis. There might be some other websites that give you comparable amounts, but most don’t even come close. Here is my personal list of 2010 paid survey sites that always offer high paying surveys.

Fusion Cash – There’s just something about them that instantly pulled me in. I think it was their user friendly layout that is perfect for novice survey takers, which I was when I first found them. Having a user friendly interface is all fine and dandy, but it doesn’t mean much if they don’t have high paying surveys. Fusion does have them. Lots of them. Most 2010 paid survey sites have quite a bit of overhead costs associated with running the websites, which means they can’t pay the full amount to their members.

Fusion tends to pay quite a bit more than the average place, though, so they must have very low overhead. When you add this in with their always updated list of fresh questionnaires to take and their top notch member support, you will be very hard pressed to find a comparable place to make money within the next year. It’s that one fact that always draws me to them first, before I go to any other website at the start of the day.

Global – Back in the day, I always wondered which websites were around right when people started to make money with filling out questionnaires. Well, I found one of them with Global. I did tons of inside research about them and I found out that they are one of the Grandfathers of this industry. Many of the bigger companies around trust them fully, which means Global gets high paying surveys before most other smaller websites. They are given exclusively to them, meaning no other places will have them. Because of that fact, Global can always give you larger payments, because the surveys aren’t given to 100′s of other websites, which is when the payments shrink. That is why they are on my list of the best 2010 paid survey sites.

MyPoints – They really do have a different method of listing the amount of cash you have made, as you can plainly see by the word “points” in their website name, but this does not change the fact that MyPoints has very high paying surveys. Do not worry about having to trade in those points for prizes or stupid raffles. You can get cold hard cash from them when you are ready to cash out and get your earnings. Other than that, they are basically the same as Fusion in all other ways. You may not get as much cash on a monthly basis, but they’re as close as you can get, which is why I consider them the perfect compliment. Those are the three best 2010 paid survey sites that always pay me the most for their high paying surveys.

Attraction Marketing: What is it?

February 11th, 2010 No comments

You’ve got your own or you’re looking at a Network Marketing / Direct Sales / MLM business.

What are you supposed to do next?

You could try the old school tactics of cold-calling, hassling family members and friends, making lists, the 3 foot rule. But you’ll probably just end up alienating yourself from everyone you know. However there is a new kid on the block these days. Attraction Marketing.

What exactly is this Attraction Marketing I hear you say?

Well, as the name suggests, it’s all about “Attracting” people to you.

In the past, you were told that everyone is a prospect. You were told to talk to anyone and everyone to try and get them to join your business. As anyone who’s been around for a while will know; this is not the case and in fact it’s a really good way to get very demoralised very quickly.

Wouldn’t you be better off only approaching people who were actually looking for a business or are interested in making a change in their lives? What if these people approached you first?

By using Attraction Marketing you put yourself out on the internet and make it possible for these people to find YOU.

Your goal should be to become an expert in your chosen field. So that when people find you, they begin to trust and respect you because they have benefited from the information you have given them. If they have also been looking for a way to gain financial, time or personal freedom then they will approach you for help on that too because they believe you can also help them in this area.

That’s when they approach YOU.

You are then placed in a position of control in the relationship.

The person who makes the initial contact is always going to be in a weaker position. When someone contacts you first, it gives you a position of authority. Making your job much easier. No longer are you trying to convince anyone to join you and your company. You are now interviewing people to see if they are good enough to be a part of your team.

Can you see the benefits of using this approach?

It is only through providing great content that this will work.

This can be the area in which a lot of people slip up. You need to make sure you are not just putting out glorified sales pitches. If you do this you will instantly be in the weaker position again. You must ensure that you are providing great content that is actually going to enrich the lives of those who see it.

“But what if you’re not an expert at anything?” I hear you asking…

I gaurantee that you are.

I know that there is something that you know more about that your family and friends. This is an area you are an expert in and it is what you will start with. Even if it’s “Simple tips on how to keep your house clean when you have kids.”

It may take a couple of times to get into the swing of things but you will soon realise how much great, targeted content you actually have to put out there.

Now it’s time for you to brainstorm ideas for content. Find a nice quiet place, take a blank page and pen and start writing.
