After this is done, the alternate current power adapter is connected to the USB cable that is in an mp3 player. This power adapter can be connected in the lighter for cigarette. If this cannot be used, it can also be connected to the power port that is especially for the alternate current of the car.

Shift lock button is pushed downwards. This button can be identified near the handle of the shifter. Pressing it down, the shifter is moved till the lowest level of grade is attained. Now the compartment for storage which is present below is pulled out. The adapter is inserted into some power source inside the car like the lighter for cigar. It is with this adapter connection is made with the cable. Adjustment of radio is made till the music can be listened through radio when player is switched on

Honda Accord How To Remove The Factory Stereo

When a new Honda accord is bought, there will be a pre installed stereo system present in the vehicle’s dashboard. In many cases it would be very essential to remove the stereo from its place. There are a few tools required to do this job. The usage of these tools makes it easy and comfortable while doing the job. The tools includes a trim panel removing tool, a flat head screw driver, and a Philips head screw driver. These are used to loosen the screw and to lift the trim.

The negative cable of the car’s battery is unplugged first. Clamp of the cable is loosened using the screw driver with flat head. The cable is placed inside. Use your screw driver with flat head to pry the center clock from the car’s dash board. There is a gap between the housing of the center clock and trim panel in which the screw driver will fit perfectly.

You will find four screws on the edges of the radio set. These screws are removed using appropriate screw driver. Use your both hands to pull the radio set out by giving equal forces on two sides. The radio set is pulled such a way that the back side of the radio is visible. Disconnect all the wires.

In this step the screws surrounding the stereo should be removed with help of a Philips screw driver. Once it is done, the stereo is pulled out slowly from the dash until the wires in the back side are accessible. Now one can remove the wires coming from the antenna, power supply and the wires going to the speakers. So the stereo unit can be removed.
