Are Hydrogen Fuel Vehicles A Reality?

February 15th, 2010 No comments

Most people are not even aware of the possibility of hydrogen fuel vehicles. They are completely unaware of the idea that there are alternative sources of energy that can power your car which can give you the ability to avoid high fuel prices. The technology and the concept behind this innovation is being upgraded and improved on every day.

These hydrogen fuel vehicles are able to control and utilize the power of water in opposed to a more expensive and less efficient gasoline. It may sound like a crazy idea but it is indeed very true. Technology that gives us the ability to design and fuel cars with only water is being explored every day. How the process works is by water being electrolyzed into HHO A.K.A Brown’s gas. This gas is then an additional supplement to engines and combined with fuel. If you are able to use this gas your car’s engine will burn more efficiently and produce lower emissions on top of cheaper gas prices!

This technology involves a converter. Once the water to gas converter is installed, your car’s engine will use a significantly reduced amount of gas. This reduction can amount to about 30%! This percentage is then substituted with the cheaper HHO gas. These converters have now been made readily available and at affordable prices. Installation of the hydrogen generator kits is very simple and fast. Therefore, turning the ordinary cars into hydrogen fuel vehicles is an instantaneous affair.

There are loads of merits associated with the HHO gas. The most obvious one is its eco friendliness. Browns gas prevents the emission of poisonous compounds of carbon fumes by first getting rid of the carbon in the engine. This result into using the fuel more efficiently and ensures that the fuel burns longer. A greater mileage has been proven when using hydrogen fuel vehicles.

It is important to note that any advantage has a disadvantage always in its opposition. Hydrogen fuel vehicles are not an exemption from this law. Occasional problems may arise as you make efforts to control HHO generator. One of the control measure done on the generator is to regulate its temperatures from overheating. Unfortunately, this process may make it harder to start up your vehicles engine especially when the weather is freezing cold. However despite this disadvantage coming into the picture, the hard truth is that in this day and age it is capable for a vehicle to run on water. It may be difficult or impossible to run a vehicle on water alone currently, but hydrogen fuel cars run better and efficiently on water. All I can wish you is a good luck and a very happy driving of your new hydrogen vehicle.

All About Nascar

February 11th, 2010 No comments

Your favorite form of racing might be formula 1, but if you ask a person living in Florida what his favorite motor sport is, you’ll get NASCAR for an answer. The thrilling speed and the stiff competition have had the people’s attention for more than 60 years after it was founded by William France Sr. in Feb.’48. Millions vie to see their racing heroes in action every year, but it is just a few who get their hands on the elusive Nascar Tix. Here is a look at the best crowd pullers.

Richard petty

The seven time NASCAR champion is nicknamed as ‘The King’ around the track and what else would you expect after all the time that he ruled. A second generation driver, he ended his 35 year long career in’92 at the age of 55, amassing 200 wins and 126 career poles along the way. He won his last championship in’79, before passing on the mantle to his able successor Dale Earnhardt SR. Petty lives in North Carolina and has 4 daughters and 12 grand children.

Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Earnhardt is tied with Richard Petty for the most sprint cup wins at 7. His aggressive driving style gave him the nickname ‘the intimidator’ and ‘ironhead’ among many others. One of the biggest NASCAR tickets sellers, Dale won 76 races of the 677 that he drove in a career spanning 25 years. Sadly, the champion died on the race track in 2001, aged 49. Many believed he still had many racing years in him and could have gone on to break Petty’s record. Unfortunately, that would never be found out.

David Gene Pearson

Pearson stands at second position on in terms of race victories in NASCAR, Behind Richard Petty at 105 wins. He popularly came to be known as the silver fox in his time and is best remembered for his many duels on the track with Petty. In a fourteen year period the two of them finished 1-2 on 63 different occasions, with Pearson outpacing his favored competitor 33 times. He won the sprint cup three times in his career and was inducted in the motor sports hall of fame in’90.

Jeff Gordon

He was the first man to surpass the $100 million mark in NASCAR earnings and is the holder of four sprint cup titles (1995,’97,’98 and 2001). Gordon began racing in’93 and needs just three more race victories to climb to third position in the list of most race wins. Another interesting fact is that he is the co-owner of the #48 Hendrick motorsports team in which Jimmie Johnson has won 3 championships for himself.

Jimmy Johnson

Born in El Cajon, California, Jimmie Johnson began his driving career in 2001. His first race win came next year in NAPA Auto parts 500, California. It took him five more years before he could win his first sprint cup, but since then he has not relinquished the title. An interesting point is that he drives for a Jeff Gordon, a man whose record he is set to equal if he wins the NASCAR championship at the end of the season.

Save Money on Your Truck by Fixing it Yourself

February 11th, 2010 No comments

We love our cars, but they are no doubt expensive. Have you thought about how many items you can actually fix yourself? I’m not talking about being a mechanic, but just simple maintenance that you can do to save money.

The easiest way to maintain your car is probably to inflate the tires. It sounds simple but doing so not only saves your tires from wearing out excessively but also your gas.

Changing your own oil is actually easy and something I recommend doing. Additionally, you can pick the oil to use and make sure you are putting quality motor oil in your car.

You could ask someone to change your windshield wipers, but it’s actually pretty easy to do it yourself without ever spending anything on labor. Just pop it out and put the new one back in.

Many people rely on someone else to change their winter and summer tires, but it’s a few bolts as long as you jack up the car. The surprising simple way can you save money and hassle.

Do not ever do major repairs yourself unless you have years of experience fixing cars. I’m sure you will agree that cars are nice, but it’s also very dangerous if something were to go wrong.

The car accessory may claim that it can save you money, but it probably won’t unless it’s a very high priced and sophisticated piece of device and needs professional installation.

You may not know how to change break pads, but you really don’t need to go to the dealership to do this. Many people can do this for you, so just go to a trust mechanic and ask her to change them out.

Get your light bulbs changed without breaking a sweat. It’s very easy and now that people want to charge you for everything, it’s not worth asking them for a favor.

Wheel alignment is actually something you cannot do yourself, even though it’s very expensive. The process requires a machine, which you will never buy because it’s bulky and costly, so go to a shop to do it.

I can shop all day if I can always use these Overstock coupon code right now.
