Best Vertical Jump Program – 3 Mistakes To Avoid When Choosing
Figuring out the best vertical jump program can be nothing short of a miracle, mainly because there are so many options. When I was in the market for a program to increase my vertical leap, I figured out that there are 3 mistakes you want to avoid:
1. Fees for coaching – watch out for “coaching” fees when you are looking for the best vertical jump program. While the coaching is not really a big issue, the way it is structured can be. The fees charged can sometimes be outrageous and the details are often hidden.
For example, I found that some vertical jump programs charged between $10-$20 per month for coaching. But some of the others charged well over $150 per month! A huge disparity to say the least. And oftentimes, the fees for this “coaching” were buried somewhere in the fine print, so you didn’t even know you were paying for it until you got your credit card statement.
2. The author – one thing most people don’t think about is the author of the jump program they are interested in. First and foremost, find out their background and experience – do they know what they are talking about? Have the trained others, including world-class athletes? Are they registered with the Better Business Bureau?
Some of the products that claim to be the best vertical jump program were actually authored by a marketing company! So, to me that says they are really out just to make a quick buck, and have no business teaching others how to jump higher.
3. Customization – one area of concern for me when I was choosing the best vertical jump program was if it would be custom to my current jumping abilities and my body type. I soon found out that most of them are designed as a one size fits all type of program. I can understand this approach, as they are trying to appeal to a broad market.
However, does it make sense that the same principles would apply to everyone trying to jump higher? Would the same training regimen apply to someone who is 5’5″ tall vs someone who is 6’5″ tall?
This led me to the discovery that there are actually some vertical jump programs that are software based that implement training programs around your specific needs and abilities. And the surprising thing was that these software programs do not cost any more than the one size fits all products.
In the end, just make sure to determine what you really want to achieve before you decide to buy what you think is the best vertical jump program. Learn from my mistakes and you can’t go wrong.
