Freelance Artist Hungary- Ildiko Szegszardy

Ildiko Szegszardy is the Graphic Designer and Nature and Traditional Illustrator. These are just some of her talents. Ildiko is a full-time freelancer, who graduated in 1989 from the Academy of Fine Arts, located in Budapest, with a BFA in Graphic Design.

Now that she has over 20 years of this experience, Ildiko can demonstrate what hard work results in, with the wonderful designs that are displayed in her online portfolio. The ability to design graphics for wrapping paper, educational and non-fiction books and large posters, continues to show the advancement of Ildiko’s skills and talents in design.

Winning an award for work with Bates Saatchi & Saatchi, a significant prize with her graphics on it and an international exhibition of advertisement in London in 1991.

In the domain of illustrations, Ildiko can create from naturalistic animal, plant, fruit, portrait paintings, general drawings, that are outstanding creations. Her preference using traditional art materials such as coloured pencil, watercolour, ink, ballpoint pen for creating my graphics.

Her illustration most definitely show a very high range of concentration and dedicated hours for this type of completion. Just looking at the mixture of colours on each piece, including those black and white portrait illustrations. Working with so many different techniques that you can mix together at any given time, on any project are skills worth honing.

All of her graphic designs are exclusively handmade, which requires a lot of dedication and concentration. Ildiko likes to work at a fast pace, with accuracy in the finished project results. Kenny Kiernan like many others had been drawing cartoons from when he was just a child, and from this day, his journey to becoming an artist began, but how things would turn out for him he could never know.

He may have started with a pencil and piece of plain white paper, but quickly Kenny moved onto joining the digital era of design as he first started using a Mac in 1990, who knew Mac’s were even around from this day and age.

During his career Kenny has been able to achieve a lot, gaining experience from doing a countless list of jobs whether they be personal project, or projects he is being paid to do by others.

Kenny has stuck to using a slick and urban style of drawing, very clean cleans and strong colours, which he merges together nicely to create the masterpieces that you may see before you.

Stay on top of you talent is one of the most valuable tips you can give or receive as a designer in this competitive environment. With jobs becoming scarce for the everyday freelancer, the only way to maintain your survival is to become the best, and to be versatile with you art format.

Since then he has been very successful on his journey in becoming the best in his field, but no less can be expected as he started drawing from a very young age and eventually was able to develop and unique and powerful style of his own.

The Artwork of Lael Henderson

Growing up in the area of sunny California is well known artist Leal Henderson. Currently living in beautiful mountains of Utah Lael still continues to strive in achieving nothing short of excellence, being the creative genius that he is, it seems as though he has a long more that he wishes to share with the rest of the viewing world.

Lael graduated from BYU in 1993 with a BFA in illustration, after gaining his qualifications he made his first step in becoming the cutting edge artist we see before us today.

Lael has a great love for the traditional form of creating art, but over the past 10 years he has made the conscious decision to move over and join the digital age of creative design. It was a slow and painful progress for him, but not to say that he has been nothing short of successful on this quest.

The disciplines of Lael and focused on children’s, cartoon and conceptual illustrations. Using and combining these 3 formats Lael has been able to become a master when it comes to the artistic portrayal of children art. If ever Lael is to take on a new project, the chances are that it would be artwork for children novels.

The style Lael uses in his work is always well versatile and you can never know what to expect next in his next piece of art. It could be something dark and gloomy or something bright and joyful. The details of his work tend to change with each and every project, the quality of being unpredictable is every great artist’s greatest asset, and no artist wants the public to grow tired of repetitive and uncreative work.

My favourite piece of artwork by Lael Henderson is image of Little Frank, which uses very subtle but strong colours and tones, but the concept of the image is all so simple, yet very captivating.
