You are just going through the motions but not really enjoying your life. Learning how to fight depression is the only way to get back your life.
There are very natural and safe steps to follow in order to beat depression before you resort to visiting a doctor. Prescription medication should not be taken as a first resort but instead it should be a last resort. Take time to try each step and only visit a doctor if the steps do not help.
A natural way to fight depression is with exercise. You can try walking everyday for about half an hour. You can jog or bicycle instead. If you are one of those people that don’t like to be alone you can ask a family member or friend to come along.
When you bring someone to walk with you it can help keep you motivated. Some people will need medication to fight depression. Walking is great for depression even if you are on medicine. Some people prefer to dance instead of listening to him holler at me.
Dancing is more fun to do than just jogging or walking and that is why it is so great. You can dance with a partner or alone that will be your decision to make. Meditating after your daily exercise can also help. Meditation has been known to help the mind and body.
You should try to learn why you are depressed so that you can better fight it. You need to write a list of the bad things you did and may be the reason for the depression. Once the list is finished try discussing it with someone else. Your friend may have helpful suggestions. A therapist can help you if you want help.
