There are several ways to save money on infant boy clothing. You can always save a lot if you make your own clothes. It is very easy to sew and the fact that the clothes are very small makes is simple but quick. Within minutes you can have a onesie for your baby.
Some places can give you instructions on great sewing techniques that you can use to make little shirts, pants, or socks. If you were able to create clothes for your dolls when you were young it may be possible that you can easily get the hang of it and learn how to make much more than just baby clothes. Fabric is very affordable at fabric stores and you have to worry about your baby not liking what you make for them because they are not at the point where they can speak or realize that they dislike it. All that matters is that your infant is clothed and safe from the hard weather.
If you simply don’t have the time to learn how to sew or are afraid that you won’t be successful at doing so you can go to a local thrift store that may have what you are looking for. Second hand stores are given a lot of baby clothes because people don’t need them after their infant grows out of them so instead of throwing away perfectly useful clothes they donate them. That is why it is a good idea to look through the newborn baby clothes section in a thrift store. You can probably even find new clothes because sometimes people give away things that they never had any use for or clothes that were too small by the time they decided to use them.
Make sure that the clothes do not have any vomit or stains because they may be very dirty or stay permanently on the material. A good wash and the second hand baby clothes are as good as new. You may want to wash them several times though just to make sure that they are completely disinfected. Finding infant clothes can be a challenge but patience pays off. Your friends may have ideas on where to find some so it is a good idea to ask around. When you look for infant boy clothing make sure that it is going to last for a long time and that you save it just in case you have another child.
