Recession Dating – Romantic And Economical Dating Ideas
A date can easily cost hundreds of dollars. If you make the right choices, this doesn’t have to happen to you. With a little imagination and some planning in advance, your inexpensive date can be anything but cheap.
Do it right and it can be a lot more romantic than your usual dating routine. The reason is that you both are trying out something that you don’t normally do together. We tend take the routine stuff for granted and it therefore dulls romance.
What an inexpensive date is lacking in big bucks can be more than made up for in excitement and romantic sizzle. Forget the expensive dating routine and consider the following tips.
1.) The picnic. The cost of this only depends on the type of food you bring. And this will be far cheaper than what you would spend on a dinner date.
So pack some sandwiches and potato chips. Try taking along some fried chicken and potato salad. Don’t forget the wine and cheese to encourage romance.
An alternative to this is to bring charcoal, a grill, food you’d like to grill, and have an outdoor barbeque.
2.) Large university towns usually have lots of social activities to choose from. They tend to be quite varied and inexpensive. This is due to the fact that most students are poor and large universities draw students from a wide diversity of cultures.
Therefore plenty of activities will be available such as music, art, sports, and plays. Choose an activity and go for it.
3.) If you’re a city dweller, try going to the local park. Parks in major metropolitan areas tend to be extravagant with outdoor food vendors, free concerts, and ponds full of swans and ducks. Plan a walk that takes in the various amenities of the park.
Bring some bread to feed the ducks or you can literally go fly a kite. If it is wintertime, try the skating rink.
If you put enough thought into it, your inexpensive date can be an exciting and romantic affair rather than a cheap one.
