MLM Training – Do You Need It?

February 10th, 2010 No comments

MLM means Multi-Level Marketing. Other alternative names are Network marketing, referral marketing and pyramid selling. Some companies use Multi-Level Marketing as a strategy. MLM has a down line of promoters/distributors and hierarchy of various compensation plans in a pyramid shape. The company products are marketed directly to consumers and potential business partners by relationship referrals and word of mouth marketing. You may heard of these globally recognized MLM companies: Avon, Oriflame, Amy Global (Quixtar), Kleeneze etc.

The success of a MLM business is dependent on n how you do the marketing. When you become a MLM distributor, your success is directly related to your marketing skills and techniques. You will suffer big losses if you don’t have marketing expertise. In Reality most new MLM marketers don’t receive marketing training which is crucial. When you advertise yourself or your business to the right group of people who are looking for the product/services you are offering, that is marketing. Many of them are told to make a list of 100 contacts and then talk to each of them. Often its a waste of time when people are not interested in the products/services they are offering. Using this method can lead to few or no sales and discouragement, often to the extent that the distributor will quit the business opportunity. So training is very important as guidance on how to do marketing of your business or products in a successful way.

MLM companies emphasize on the need to be trained, for your teams but often they fail to teach properly on how to do it. They leave this up to individual distributors and since so many do not have expertise in this very few are successful. This is one of the largest contributors to why only 3% of network marketers ever make any money and even less obtain a level that allows them to do the business full time. So without proper and correct training, your business will be unsuccessful.

When you first enroll in most MLM businesses you will told by your upline that they will train you and all you have to do is follow them. The truth is, if they are indeed successful, which most of them are not, what they do is often not duplicatable to most people so the training that they offer has little or no value to you. One classic example of this is a high energy sales person that just lights up the room when they walk in. Often these people can enroll lots of distributors just from their energy but since what they do is not your style or personality, what they teach you on how to enroll people has little or no value to what you can do.

This is the problem that many MLM marketers encounter when they join the industry. If however you are able to plug up with a team that will give you step by step instructions on how you can market and in turn teach your own team to market that would yield a different result. An average network marketer stays in business for 63 days. If you however can get a check in their hand before that 63 days you have demonstrated to them that they can make money and they will stay in the business much longer. It is vital that you closely work with your new team members so that they can make money fast to help them gain a foothold in their business.

Just because your upline does not have the required training does not mean you cannot be successful. There are some third party training systems that will teach you and your team what you need to grow your business. The actual company and its compensation plan may not be wrong. That is only one ingredient but with the right training you can explode your business

To summarize, it is crucial for you to consult a team that can train you and your team to be successful. This is one of the main reasons to your success.

Model Of Online Buisness

The online auction business model is one in which participants bid for accessories and services over the Internet. The functionality of buying and selling in an auction scheme is shaped possible through auction software which regulates the various processes involved.

Several types of online auctions are possible. In an English auction the initial price starts low and is bid up by successive bidders. In a Dutch auction, multiple identical items are offered in one auction, with all winning bidders paying the similar price–the highest price at which all items will be sold.Almost all online auctions use the English auction method.Auction sites, like garage sales, flea markets, classified advertisements and other independent sales venues, occasionally draw criminals wishing to sell stolen items, but for law enforcement organizations, finding stolen goods offered online is sometimes easier than more traditional detection methods.

A few criticism is leveled at online auction websites for uneven representation of items offered for sale.Descriptions may omit important detail, and photos may not be adequate.Potential bidders can typically look after themselves by reading the text, studying photographs and asking questions of the seller before bidding.Studies show that a big amount of unsatisfactory online purchase experiences are the outcome of careless consumerism.

In the U.S.,large retailers have lobbied Congress to require online auction addresses to share private sales detail about sellers, citing potential illegalities.Within the online auction community this is usually viewed as an attempt at unfair market protection and trade restraint.Reduced overhead sometimes enables independent online sellers to offer products at lower prices than large retailers.

Online auction selling has attracted millions of laid-off workers,as well as the disabled, parents of young children, retirees, pensioners and others that are unable to obtain employment in the mainstream workforce.Online auction venue corporations are accused of engaging in discriminatory trade practices that unfairly impact such customers.Presently, the trading practices of online auction venue corporations is not regulated by state or federal agencies.
