This basically means that a hot water cleaning solution is subjected to high pressure, which breaks up the dirt and bacteria held on the carpet. The water can then be removed leaving the carpet clean. This method is also sometimes known as steam cleaning.
If you want the carpets in your property to have a long life, then it is useful to maintain them in two ways. The first way is hoovering them frequently. This is not needed on a daily basis but frequent enough to help keep them clean. The second way to maintain your carpet is to have it cleaned properly.
