All that is required of you is to use your common sense and follow certain simple guidelines. The candles must always be stored in a cool, dry and dark place. Tapers and dinner candles must be stored in a flat way to avoid warping. The surface of the candles must be rubbed gently and dusted with a very soft cloth to get rid of fingerprints. One can also use a moist cloth for wiping.
Learn to take precautions when there are lighted candles in the house. Keep candles away from flammable substances. Kids and pets should be kept away. A stable and firm holder is advisable, and the wick should also be of a proper size.
