3 Sketchy Tattoo Removal Techniques
Why should responsible people have all the fun? Sure, you could be smart about your decision to remove a tattoo and use a technique that works and won’t leave a nasty scar, like laser treatments, but what fun would that be?
Seriously though, there are sketchy techniques for removing tattoos that should be avoided or at the very least, cautiously applied. Let’s look at 3 of them here in this article. Note that none of these are recommended or endorsed here by this blog or this writer. This is being supplied as information that points out what you shouldn’t do!
First up we have tattoo creams. These are sold without a prescription and applied in your home – no doctors needed, no pain, and also, no results! At least that seems to be the case from all the people going online and complaining about these products. Save your money. Don’t bother with something like Tat B Gone,Tattoo Off, or Wrecking Balm unless your tattoo is already old and faded on its own, otherwise, you’ll likely be disappointed with the lack of results.
The second sketchy option is to sand away the tattoo. This technique is known as “dermabrasion”, and it’s something that amazes me people used to do to get rid of a tattoo. You literally sand away the layers of the skin and with it, take the tattoo ink with it. Can you say “scar”, anyone?
The third and final sketchy method is one that luckily no one in their right mind practices anymore. I’m talking about excising the skin that contains the tattoo. Sure, this method works – all they’re doing is taking off your skin that contains the tattoo ink! It’s amazing that anyone would do this. You’d really have to hate your tattoo to literally pay someone to cut it out of your body for you.
On a happier note, there are two recommended methods for removing a tattoo you should look at. This is rejuvi cream and laser treatments. These methods are reliable and have the research – and experience – to back them up. Better to spend your money and time on something that works, and works without cutting you up, and be happy with the results, then try and save some money on a sketchy technique like the ones above!
