No More Diets With Control Underwear

February 26th, 2010 No comments

If you want to live, you’ve got to eat. This is meant both literally and metaphorically. Eating and drinking is something we need to do in order to survive. Also, if we want a good time on this earth, we should indulge ourselves once in awhile.

Humans tend to socialize by eating meals together or by relaxing with a few drinks amongst friends. It is hard to extract yourself from these social events just because of the temptation of food. The best thing to do in these scenarios is to partake in moderation and while having fun at the same time.

Very few people have perfect bodies and as mentioned, what’s the point of having one if you can’t eat, drink and be merry? It is such a downer to have to count calories and think about how much time you have to work out at the gym in order to burn off a hamburger you just ate. Who wants to be on a diet if your life is always governed by what you can and cannot eat? If you keep yourself in decent enough shape, there are other ways to get a rock hard body that doesn’t involve abstaining in regular fun.

It should come as no surprise that one of the solutions to having a nice body without compromising a social life is to wear tummy control underwear. This is a spin off from the various body shaping underwear we’ve had in the past centuries. Before, it was inflexible iron corsets; now it’s a pair of underwear made of Spandex. Thankfully for women who want to enjoy life, the Spandex works just as well.

If you’re a woman who is tired of eating next to nothing in order to remain thin, control underwear might be the right choice for you. They allow women to partake in the joys life has to offer and not feel ugly about it.

Stress and Anxiety

Are you feeling uneasy lately and have no idea why? maybe it’s anxiety. Anxiety is a feeling of apprehension or fear. The source of this uneasiness is not always known or recognized, which can add to the distress you feel.

We feel anxiety our whole life, even those that don’t have the real problem, have experienced anxiety at least 15 minutes a day. Organizing an important event where people are depending on us can make us very anxious. There are many common symptoms and levels of anxiety we go through and some people are more affected than others.

Stress takes its toll on your body. Breaking up the day with a few minutes of fun, here and there, can make a huge difference to how your body handles stress. Going for a walk at lunch or on coffee break gives you something to look forward to and gives your mind a break. For some, a brisk little five or ten minute walk with some soothing music on your ipod will bring relief.

Try listening to relaxing music; such as soft music or any type of deep relaxation music. Anything that can take your mind off your troubles and helps you feel more relaxed is helpful. These CD’s and MP3′s are available to buy from most music stores or even online and are usually cheaper than traditional music genres.

Stress can severely impact all aspects of your life including your health. Many people are driven to the doctor simply as a result of stress. Over a long period of time, excessive stress can incapacitate you and lead to you towards long term problems.

If you live with high levels of stress, it may be time for a personal change of course. Unanswered stress does nothing good in anyone`s life. Prevention is better than cure so it maybe wise to change elements of your lifestyle to eliminate some of the stress in your life.

Stress is a normal part of life. It’s good in small quantities since it motivates you and helps you be more productive. However, too much stress, or the inability to handle it, is bad for your health. It can lead to generally poor health as well as specific physical or psychological illnesses such as infection, heart disease, or depression. Persistent and unrelenting stress often leads to anxiety and unhealthy behaviors like overeating and abuse of alcohol or drugs.

Not taking care of daily stress can lead to ruined personal relationships and job failure. Plus individuals living with excessively high levels of stress are prone to making bad decisions, sometimes even irrational decisions, prompting them to engage in dangerous activities, such as stealing, speeding and drunk driving.

Acid Free Paper

One of the principal components of wedding gown preservation is acid free paper. Acid free tissue paper is used for filling in bodices and protecting wedding dresses and other garments from creases and wrinkles during storage. It is necessary for the archival storage of garments and textiles. Conservators choose unbuffered tissue paper for most fabrics. Beanies and other collectibles can also be stored in acid free paper. They should be wrapped lightly and stored in an acid free box or a Tyvek bag.

There are a few different types of acid free tissue paper. You should use soft, thin acid free tissue which is lignin free and comes without any buffering agents ( pH 7.0 ). Since it is soft, you can also use it to interleave or wrap color photographs, wrap silk and wool fabrics, or unknown fabrics, and pad or cushion many other artifacts. The soft fibers help prevent scuffing and breakage during storage and handling.

In order to store a wedding gown using acid free paper you must first purchase an acid free preservation box. You then line the box with the tissue. Then stuff the sleeves of the gown with tissue and either use a bust form which has been covered with the tissue or stuff the bodice with tissue. Then place the gown, front side down in the box Leave about 3/4 of the bodice hanging off the side of the box.

Next, place tissue to protect and pad the folds. Then carefully fold in the train of the gown while continuing to protect the folds. Gently lay the train in the box in folded sections until it is all in the box.

Now you will neatly fold in the bodice and arrange it so that it looks good. The cuffs of long sleeves containing lace or beading can be layed along the waistline of the bodice in order to display the ornamentation. If the train is fancy but the bodice is plain, then part of the train may be moved forward for better visibility by either by placing the bodice lower in the box so that it will show at the waistline or above the top of the gown.

You will probably need to place extra tissue around the edges of the gown to hold its position in the box. If you prefer you may fold in muslin. You may then close the lid of the box. it is recommended that you tape the lid shut to keep out unwanted inspectors, such as children and nosy relatives. Your gown is now protected and may be safely stored. You may also use a Tyvek wedding gown preservation bag to store your gown if you don’t want to use a large box.
